No, recipients do not need to sign up for a Checkbook account to receive their payment.
When a digital payment is sent to an email designated by the sender, our system automatically generates a secure link which is the link button in the email the recipient receives. This link sends your recipient to a Checkbook landing page where they can select their payment option designated by the sender.
Note: recipients are not charged any fees for depositing their digital payments.
